This short film, directed by Fairda Tsolina, presents a surreal narrative of self-discovery. The production premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival and won the Special Award for Best Newcomer Director at the Drama International Short Film Festival.
The film features two primary locations: a bus stop and a beach. The bus stop, constructed specifically for the film, included a vintage Greek phone booth and bench, contrasting with the natural setting of the beach.
The design team selected cool tones for the color palette, providing a visual counterpoint to the warm hues of the shooting locations. Coordinating and transporting sets to remote locations posed a unique logistical challenge, successfully overcome to create a cohesive visual narrative.
