All stage elements, including painted fabric panels and a polystyrene cube, served as projection surfaces, creating a dynamic interplay between physical and digital storytelling. A vintage dentist chair replaced Kahlo’s wheelchair, adding symbolic depth.
The iconic Tehuana dress was reinterpreted with off-white tones, while a cigarette necklace replaced traditional Aztec beads, reflecting Kahlo’s rebellious spirit. Scenic art was developed in collaboration with Eleni Papadaki.
